WebAug 21, 2024 · I would say Air-oo automatically but I guess it should have a fada on the u to properly have the oo sound. It’s more like Air-uh like éire. The word for today is inniu which is pronounced inn-yuh here in the Connemara Gaeltacht but a lot of regions say inn-yew. Going by this I think it would be accepted as Air-uh or Air-oo.
